But if rides aren’t your thing, Ballance says there’s something for everyone to do — it’s an all-ages affair“I think what’s neat about this park is that it is a full family experience,” she tells NEWS 1130. “So many rides for the little kids, and of course we have the games and all the fun food that comes along with an amusement park.”Ballance says a lot of preparation has gone into getting the amusement park ready for the season.“Our team, which is some of the best technicians anywhere in North America, are working on the rides. They’re getting ready and ready to roll and welcome Vancouver and British Columbia into Playland Amusement Park.”Playland will be open weekends until school lets out. “And then we’re open daily as we run up to the fair at the end of August.”So get ready to eat the mini donuts, just try not to let them come back up again.
